Happy St Patrick's Day
On St Patrick's day, we see celebrations around the world. Irish culture and history is something that can be experienced in many cities (as AIRINCer Anraoi attested to in a previous blog post).
As a global company we challenged our employees around the world to research the cost of Guinness, one of the most recognized Irish companies, and sample the product should they wish! How much gold at the end of a rainbow would a pint of Guinness cost?!
Here are the results!
AIRINCer and Location | USD | GBP |
1. Lisa in Norwood, MA, US | 9.00 | 7.46 |
2. Carl (and son) on holiday in London, UK | 8.20 | 6.80 |
3. Pat (and son) in Reading, MA, US | 8.03 | 6.65 |
4. Catherine, Andrea, Morgan and Sam in the City of London, UK | 7.97 | 6.60 |
5. Jade in New York, NY, US | 7.00 | 5.80 |
6. Man Yi Tsai in Perth, Australia [440ml converted to pint equivalent] | 5.11 | 4.26 |
Norwood, MA, USA came in as the most expensive for our small dataset. A central pub in London was also quite expensive -- good job we only bought the one (which we then gifted to the kind stranger who took our photo)!
Our colleague Grace visited Ireland earlier this year, so it seemed rude not to include this fabulous shot from the home of Guinness in Dublin!
