We’re halfway through the THRIVE webinar series, and one thing is already clear: this has become a standout conversation for the global mobility community.

Halfway Through THRIVE: AIRINC Brings Together Leading Voices in Global Mobility

The THRIVE webinars and recordings have already been viewed more than 500 times! An incredible reflection of the strong engagement from the global mobility community. Have you watched yet?

What makes the series especially compelling is the calibre of the speakers who have joined us so far. Through THRIVE, AIRINC has had the privilege of hosting mobility leaders from Daiichi Sankyo, Roche, and Shell — three major global organisations with sophisticated, large-scale mobility programs and deep experience navigating talent, employee experience, and readiness in complex international environments.

These are exactly the kinds of voices mobility professionals want to hear from: leaders working at scale, solving real challenges, and sharing candidly how their programs are evolving.

And there is more still to come!

Why THRIVE is resonating

The THRIVE series was designed to move beyond theory and into practice. Each webinar focuses on one dimension of a thriving mobility program, brought to life through the lived experience of leaders from some of the world’s most respected organisations.

That is what has made the first half of the series so powerful. These have not been abstract discussions. They have been grounded conversations with speakers leading mobility in businesses where international movement is both strategic and operationally complex.

So far, the series has featured:

Each speaker brought a different perspective, but together they reinforced a shared message: thriving mobility programs are intentional, people-centred, and built to respond to change.

Three sessions, three standout perspectives

In our opening session, Barb Colvin of Daiichi Sankyo spoke about the shift from mobility as a transactional function to mobility as a strategic business partner:

“We truly are striving to be a partner to the business, and not just operationally executing on moves.”

In our second session, Simon Baker of Roche captured why mobility remains one of the most important people-focused functions in HR:

“I don't think there’s any process within HR that’s more human than mobility.”

And in our third session, Kamilla Rodzaj of Shell shared a practical reminder about what readiness really requires:

“You cannot be ready for the unexpected when you are not ready for the everyday routine work.”

What attendees are saying

The response from attendees so far has reflected both the quality of the discussions and the strength of the speakers.

“It was great to hear how Barb is really moving the dial on talent integration.”

“A fantastic session — it’s always valuable to hear how a business like Roche is operating.”

“So insightful to hear how Shell is leading the way in being prepared for anything. I learned so much.”

And we’re not done yet!

More leading voices still to come

AIRINC is proud to continue the series with more outstanding speakers from global organisations:

  • May 21 – I: Influencing with Rose Carter, PMI

  • June 23 – V: Vendor Partnership with Alice Terry, Micron

  • July 30 – E: Engaged Team & Leadership with Tom Wagner, Micron

With PMI and Micron joining the second half of the series, THRIVE continues to bring valuable perspectives to the global mobility community.

More than just a speaker line-up, the series is becoming a place where GM professionals can hear honest experiences, learn from peers, and gather practical ideas to apply in their own organisations.

Why THRIVE, and Why Now?

THRIVE reflects the realities facing global mobility leaders today. The work is more complex. Stakeholders are more diverse. And the impact of mobility decisions extends far beyond the assignment itself.

Each letter in THRIVE represents a critical dimension of a modern mobility program:

T – Talent Integration: Embedding mobility into the broader talent strategy

H – Human Experience: Designing programs that work for people, not just policies

R – Readiness: Preparing the organization, the assignee, and the business for success

I – Influencing: Strengthening mobility’s voice with stakeholders and decision-makers

V – Vendor Partnership: Moving beyond transactions to true collaboration

E – Engaged Team & Leadership: Building strong internal teams and leadership support

Individually, these themes are important. Together, they provide a practical way to assess where your program is today—and where it has the potential to go.
