AIRINC is pleased to help promote an important new industry survey launched by Collectif Matching-U, focused on understanding women’s experiences in global mobility. As conversations around diversity, equity, and inclusion continue to gain momentum across corporate HR functions, it remains clear that gender equity in international mobility is a topic requiring much more visibility and data-driven insight.
While gender pay equity is frequently discussed within Compensation & Benefits circles, this topic receives less attention at global mobility conferences. Yet mobility plays a critical role in leadership development, career acceleration, and global talent strategy. Understanding who has access to these opportunities—and what may prevent someone from pursuing an assignment—is essential to building more inclusive programs.
This new study seeks to close that knowledge gap by examining the barriers, enablers, and best practices that influence women’s participation in international assignments. It does so through two complementary surveys:
- “Global Mobility for Women” – designed for HR Directors, Global Mobility leaders, Compensation & Benefits, and Talent Management professionals LINK
- “Women & Expatriation: From the Inside” – focused on gathering insights directly from women who have lived international mobility LINK
By comparing organizational perspectives with first-hand experiences, the survey aims to highlight where alignment is strong and where gaps may still exist. It will be particularly valuable to learn not just the current gender mix of mobile talent, but also the underlying reasons that may discourage individuals from accepting an assignment. This includes structural barriers, cultural expectations, family considerations, perceptions of safety, and career progression concerns.
The survey takes only five minutes to complete, and your participation—or the participation of your contacts—will help generate meaningful industry insights that can guide future DEI strategies within global mobility.
We encourages our network to take part and help build a more inclusive and equitable global mobility landscape for all.
