Have you met Jade?
Jade joined AIRINC in 2015 and has just celebrated her seventh work anniversary! She has always been a member of our Client Engagement team and currently works with clients located on the U.S. East and West Coasts.
What do you like about working at AIRINC?
I really like my colleagues and the company's culture. It's hard to explain to an outsider -- it's a small global company where everyone's kind of weird (in a good way) and has fun, interesting life stories. Even though I relocated to New York City in 2019, I still have a strong connection to my colleagues. We recently had a summer event for the Boston office and it was great to see everyone and just be reminded that we're all AIRINCers.
How do you support your clients?
I work with a lot of clients in the pharmaceuticals industry and support clients with their use of our data and tools. I also co-chair both a pharmaceutical roundtable and a consumer goods roundtable for clients and prospects (both meet semi-annually). It's always interesting to hear what their challenges are beyond AIRINC's expertise regarding mobility compensation, as I also get to learn more about the challenges in the broader global mobility world.
What problems have you helped your clients to solve?
I have quite a few clients where cost estimates used to be a major pain point. Now, using AIRINC's Assignment Cost Estimator (ACE), they have eliminated a lot of the time and busy work that used to come with running cost estimates. To get the most value out of the tool, I have helped my clients configure ACE with their own policies: they love that the tool is super easy to use and running cost estimates is now efficient and fast!
One of my biggest ACE users has been using the tool since 2019. In that time and at their request, we've invested in some key developments such as:
- Enhancing the policy offerings within ACE
- The ability to add extensions to long-term assignments
- The ability to run cost estimates for globalists.
These development projects have helped to nurture a strong partnership between the company and AIRINC as we've worked closely together to make sure that ACE meets their needs. These have also helped us to further evolve ACE as we have also made these enhancements available to our standard ACE users.
Although many of our vendor partners leverage our API for other data elements, this client elected for an API integration set up with ACE. Thanks to the API, they can access cost estimates directly through their own system without having to log in to ACE on AIRINC's portal. Talk about efficiency!
Tell us a bit about yourself
I live in New York with my dog, Nori, who's a Bichon-Poodle mix. There’s nothing like the city's energy: everything is at your fingertips, but you can pick and choose what you want. I recently restarted pottery again. I like to make little bud vases and snacking bowls. Pottery is simultaneously one of the most frustrating and one of the most rewarding hobbies!
