On a sunny Thursday in Houston, mobility leaders gathered at Sysco’s headquarters to share ideas, make connections, and explore how global mobility drives both personal and organizational growth. We appreciate Sysco Corporation hosting the FEM Houston event. It was such a welcoming atmosphere!

FEM Houston Chapter Meeting

Jesse Stephan of Sysco reminded us that mobility is more than logistics — it’s about shaping careers, families and fueling business results.

The first panel included experts from Baker Hughes, Halliburton, Sysco and TotalEnergies to discuss how mobility drives personal growth and business success in organizations. Their commentary was both practical and inspiring, bridging strategy with real-world experience.

The second panel was moderated by Edna Gutierrez of McDermott and Maryam Shahnazi of Tenaris. They did an excellent job of moderating a session that included experts from Relocation Management, Tax Mortgage and Moving companies.

The program concluded with a candid conversation between Chevron’s Karen Hamady and Quanta Services’ Anna Lombardi in which they shared perspectives on their mobility careers and experiences.

From breakfast coffees to lunchtime conversations, the event proved that some of the best insights come from peer-to-peer connection.
