It’s no secret that global mobility teams are working through a lot right now. Between geopolitical uncertainty, economic pressure, and shifting workforce priorities, many programs are being asked to adapt quickly, often with limited time, resources, or clarity. While change has always been part of mobility, the pace and combination of challenges today feel different. Many mobility leaders are asking the same question: how are others navigating this moment, and what adjustments are being made right now?
To help answer that, we’re inviting global mobility professionals to take part in a short pulse survey focused on how today’s geopolitical and economic environment is shaping mobility programs, both operationally and strategically.
For many organizations, today’s global landscape is influencing decisions that were once fairly straightforward. Immigration and visa challenges are becoming more complex, economic uncertainty is increasing pressure on budgets, and regional or political instability is changing how companies think about moving talent across borders. At the same time, business leaders are asking mobility teams to be more agile, more cost-conscious, and more aligned with broader workforce strategies. These pressures aren’t hypothetical: they’re showing up in day-to-day decisions around assignment approvals, package design, talent deployment, and program structure.
This pulse survey is meant to be quick, practical, and grounded in real experience. It looks at the impact current geopolitical and economic conditions are having on mobility programs, which external factors are creating the most disruption, and how much cost pressure teams are facing. The survey also looks at shifts in Global Mobility operating models, talent deployment strategies, evolving expectations from the business, and the biggest risks or opportunities teams see over the next 12–18 months.
Every mobility program is approaching these challenges a little differently. By sharing your perspective, you’ll help build a clearer picture of how mobility teams are responding across industries and regions. Your input will help peers benchmark their own programs, understand how expectations of Global Mobility are shifting, and feel less alone in navigating uncertainty. All responses will be aggregated and anonymized, and results will be shared quickly so they remain relevant and useful.
At AIRINC, we regularly survey global mobility professionals on topics like program design, cost management, talent deployment, and evolving mobility strategy. These benchmark surveys help mobility teams understand where they stand, what peers are doing differently, and how programs continue to evolve.
The pulse survey includes just 10 questions and takes only a few minutes to complete. It’s open through Friday, January 30. Once the survey closes, results will be pulled together and published promptly, offering the mobility community a current, real-world view of what teams are experiencing right now.
If you’re working through geopolitical uncertainty, cost pressure, or evolving workforce strategies, your perspective matters. We hope you’ll take a few minutes to participate and help shape a clearer picture of today’s global mobility landscape. Take the Pulse Survey: How the Current Geopolitical & Economic Landscape Is Shaping Global Mobility. Survey closes Friday, January 30.
